I heard a quote once that said something along the lines of, "you miss 100% of the chances you don't take." I'm trying to decide if I think this applies to me and my decision(s) to enter in photography contents. It can be time-consuming and the competition is FIERCE - is it worthwhile to submit my work up against all these crazy-good professionals?

Why not go for it? Your work is amazing! I've submitted stuff before...of course, I didn't win, but I actually came close one time, if you can believe it! It definitely gives you a little more confidence, whether you win or lose.
