Hi, I'm Emily (no, my name is not Anna Delores -- but don't worry, it's a common misconception). "Anna Delores" is the name of my photography venture; the name comes from my maternal great-grandmother (Anna) and my paternal grandmother (Delores).
I'm a Southern California native.
I'm semi-addicted to Dr. Pepper and very addicted to coffee.
My cousins make fun of my extensive collection of awesome shoes.
I LOVE shopping. It gets me in trouble.
I LOVE food. It also gets me in trouble.
I LOVE taking pictures. That only gets me in trouble on rare occasions.
I'm not married or engaged, but I adore all things related to weddings.
My favorite city in the world is Paris. I do not speak French.
I have way too many headbands.
My favorite drink is a pineapple mimosa or a really good pumpkin ale.
Autumn is my favorite season.
I love to take naps. Like, at least once a day.
I'm a dog person.

I'm a fan of the indie business community (think Etsy, Society6, and the like). I'm definitely an Etsy addict and I LOVE to support other independent entrepreneurs and handmade sellers. "Anna Delores" is the name of my photography venture. The name "Anna Delores" comes from my maternal great-grandmother (Anna) and my paternal grandmother (Delores) in a salute to my heritage and appreciation of the influence of ancestry in my identity as an artist. I love vintage-inspired imagery and strive to integrate vintage elements in each and every one of my photographs.
My photographic subjects range from the Eiffel Tower in Paris to antique objects in Los Angeles flea markets; I produce creatively-inspired images to make a connection with people, whether by recalling memories of a past trip abroad or summoning the human emotional connection to everyday objects.
