In an effort to shine some light on the MANY talented photographers on Etsy, I bring you
Irene Powell Photography! Rene Powell has been working as a professional photographer in the Niagara region of Ontario, Canada for the past five years, shooting weddings, portraits, and even product photography for a popular food blog. Her
Etsy shop just celebrated its first birthday in January and celebrates Rene's creative work, an aspect of photography she has always enjoyed.
Irene's photography is a delightful amalgamation of various subjects -- from a series of crayons and studies of hydrangeas to dramatic travel images, all her photographs are united by Rene's sharp eye for composition and for letting an image speak for itself (though she does offer lovely background stories and anecdotes to accompany her prints on Etsy!). In her words, for example, "what is a better treat than the delicate, antique beauty of a
pale pink hydrangea?" I couldn't have said it better.
