four MORE things {friday}

I just put up a "four things: Friday's letters" post but almost immediately afterwards, I thought of four MORE things I wanted to share with y'all, so here goes.  So really, it's "eight things Friday."

1.  I am THRILLED to be accompanying an amazing photographer for a Venice, CA wedding tomorrow.  Woo hoo!  The downside is that I'm missing a lunch rendezvous with the amazing Gina, Julie, and Tammy.  I am very seriously disappointed that I won't get to meet these lovely ladies in person (at Gypsy Den, no less!  My favorite!  Grr!), but they promise it'll happen again soon... fingers crossed!

2.  Sunday will be rad, too: I get to visit Mom & Dad to celebrate father's day, plus Z and I are hitting up a housewarming party being hosted by a coworker.  THEN we're going to Skype with my brother, who is currently living in Osaka, Japan.  Awesome weekend ahead!

3.  Have you seen this video?!  I thought to myself, "I won't cry, I don't even know these people."  Well, guess what?  Sitting at my desk at work with tears streaming down my face as this couple I've never met gets engaged.  If you have any sliver of romance in you, I think you'll appreciate the effort that was put into making this video.  I'll also have this Bruno Mars song in my head for the rest of the day.




4.  And last, but certainly not least, I'm excited to announce the WINNER of the month-long "Paris in Color" giveaway, hosted by yours truly (if I had more funding, I'd give it to everyone!  Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who entered -- definitely my most successful giveaway to date).  Nichole Robertson (of Little Brown Pen), with Chronicle Books, produced this gorgeous, bursting-with-color homage to the City of Lights, and the new lucky owner of her very own copy of "Paris in Color" is Kat Emralde!  Congrats, Kat!  I'll be in touch to nab your address and send you your lovely new book of photography.
