Dear June gloom: I love you. Thank you for giving us a wee tiny break before it starts to get really hot around here!
Dear Candice & Mark: You guys are making me SO DARN HAPPY inviting me to help shoot the wedding tomorrow; I can't wait!
Dear lemons: Very excited to squeeze you into my water today. I've had a sore throat all well and it was particularly bad this morning; I hope your natural remedial qualities help combat the oncoming sickness.
Dear Z: Thank you for changing the battery on the smoke detector at 3:15 a.m. this morning. Its chirping every 40 seconds was killing me, and scaring Mickey half to death. So thank you for doing it, despite your occasional harumph. ;)
Happy weekend, everyone!
I hate those darn smoke detector batteries. Why is it always in the middle of the night?! I've been sick for a week now. Sore throat, sneezes and all. I'll have to try the lemon water remedy! Thanks & happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteWe finally killed our smoke detector years ago after my step-dad kept burning all of his food. EVERY TIME HE COOKED.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better & the lemons help. I also like to squeeze in some honey for my sore throat <3
I cannot stand smoke detectors beeping. It's like the kind of sound that scratches at your soul. Lol. Feel better girl!
