lacquered up // non-marble polish.

I bought this nail polish at Urban Outfitters last week and was excited about the concept: the marbled nail polish look in a single bottle!  When I drew out the nail brush in the store, I could see all three colors forming the marbled effect, so I snagged the bottle, on sale for $0.99.

Good thing it was only $0.99 because it definitely didn't work.

The color I did end up with was really pretty (a dark sea-green turquoise) but it just wasn't what I was expecting.  The bottle said "do not shake" so as not to interfere with the ratio and placement of the different colors.  I did NOT shake so the only thing I can imagine is that the colors got a little more stirred up than they should have between the store and my house (en route via my purse).  Who knows.  C'est la vie.  It's still a pretty color, right?
