I was debating whether to post anything on Thanksgiving, but once I saw the par-tay being hosted by friends Julie, Leonora, and Erika, my decision was made.
This is a tricky post for me to write. I know that I have SO MUCH to be thankful for, but I've had kind of a roller coaster year. If you'd told me in January where I'd be and what I'd be doing in November, I probably wouldn't have believed you.
I am thankful for ... the three sweetest, most loving dogs, who brighten my mood every. single. day.
I am thankful for ... amazing parents who are supportive, understanding, welcoming, and flexible.
I am thankful for ... how far my business has progressed this year.
I am thankful for ... getting to do what I LOVE and call it my career.
I am thankful for ... living in a country where most of my "problems" are considered "first world" ...
I am thankful for ... the Pumpkin Spice VIA that was in stock today at Starbucks. I bought four packs.
I am thankful for ... champagne.
I am thankful for ... living in a mild clime like California.
I am thankful for ... Black Friday sales (check back tomorrow for a list!).
I am thankful for ... the health and safety of my friends and family.
I am thankful for ... Paris, France.
I am thankful for ... travel in general.
I am thankful for ... the profound comfort of sleeping in my own bed.
I am thankful for ... Solitaire on my Kindle Fire.
I am thankful for ... snuggling with my dogs.
I am thankful for ... the awesome food we're going to stuff ourselves with tonight.
I am thankful for ... the Christmas decorations my mom and I are putting up on our patio later today.
I am thankful for ... the winter holiday season.
I am thankful for ... peanut butter.
I'm pretty sure I could go on and on, thinking of all kinds of things to be thankful for, which is actually an encouraging feeling -- that for all the ups and downs and drama of the past year, there is still so much to love and appreciate in this life, and I am always grateful.
I hope you guys have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
AMEN on Peanut butter girl friend!
